That was such a true and heartfelt interview. That’s what I have always loved about Phil; his honesty and “tell it like it is attitude.” Job well done. See you in Baltimore & Philly in September!!

Philip Anselmo is the idol of my life I’ve learned more from this man than from anyone else, the way he got through everything and he still continues to be the best is incredible and I thank God that he exists to help others with his music and with his conception about life!
He is the one and only, the God of heavy metal and an example to many of us, never stop being who you are Philip!
Love you forever!

Right things happen to right people,Phil. You didnt deserve to go to Dimes funeral and I hope you have regret for the rest of your life. Your bullshit is directly responsible for his death and you have to live with that every day of your life. I knew Dime since he was 5 and you will NEVER EVER convince me that you were done wrong by being barred from the funeral. I went to the memorial, Ive been to the Alrosa Villa to pay my respect and I have visited his grave….what have you done? ROT IN HELL WITH NATHAN GALE MOTHERFUCKER

Lol rev. rob. If it weren’t for Phil, Pantera would be covering Styx songs at county fairs right now. Fuck off.

I am a Pantera Fan since day one! Phil is and was always the rock of Pantera! Without him they wouldn’t have done half of what they did! I saw every show in the Cleveland area for 10yrs. I must say that every person in the band was equally important and they were all brothers for so many years. We all have some differences with our brothers, but when something tragic happens to one of ours brothers you put those differences aside to grieve together! Phil should have been aloud to grieve along with all of us!!!!!!!!

hey Reverend Rob, you are so stupid man, what the fuck are you talking about, if he start a new band well was hes desition, and also if dime and vinnie wishes in that moment start a new band why they don’t created? and explain to the people why the band was over, but they didnt and what happend? every body knows, so fuck you man phill is the man.

Phill Anselmo Rules man, he is the mother fucking best…
August 25th, 2009 at 10:14 pm
Rev. Rob I definitly have something to say. The argument really isn’t if Phil desevered to go to Dime’s funeral. Fact is he didn’t get to and I Scream is just saying a bit about how he feels. Phil has definitly had his problems and I’m not sure he wants or needs our sympathy for any of it. His problems are his own and he is no saint by any means. Fact is he didn’t kill Dime. Some fuck with issues much bigger than Phil’s did it and that is not Phil’s fault. Bands break up all the time for multiple reasons and regardless of any bad blood between Phil and the Abbott brothers at the time, He is not the reason Dime is dead. What happened to Dime, Pantera, and the way Phil feels about it is what it is. It sucks and I’m sure Phil wishes it could be different now, but once again Phil didn’t kill anyone.
