The Don and Mike Show has now been off the air now for a couple months. The Mike Omeara show now has been on the air for a little over a month. I have listened to every second of the new show and my first impressions are that it is indeed a better show. Mike has always been the one that I believed carried the show. He definitely has always been the funniest one. My lone complaint on the new show is Robb Spewack. There is only so much of his background dribble and “old queen” references that one can take. I think the show would be better off without him, no question. He continues to come across as a “fan” and as someone without his own personality. He tries to act too much like Mike, and it shows. Either way, the show is great and look forward to the future.
The Mike Omeara show is syndicated through WJFK in Washington, DC.

Is Green Bay’s hard rock station WZOR 94.7 “The Razor” on it’s way out the door? Rumors have the format changing at 9:47am at the start of the fall book. Starting with 947 commercial free songs. Brian Davis on afternoons? Lia syndication at night. If this is true this would be a major blow to Wisconsin’s rock radio. It would appear WJJO is the last of the hard rock stations to be standing..
